At Kingdom Worthy Ministries Church of God 7th Day, we believe God's Word to be inerrant.  Anything that is not of truth is from our adversary, Satan, the devil.  He currently rules this world and started his mission to separate man from God in the garden of Eden with a subtle but fatal lie.  By the grace of God, we have a Saviour, Jesus the Christ the Messiah that can save us from all of our sins.

We believe that Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son is our only path to salvation.  By actively believing on the words of Jesus, we can choose to spend eternity with God and Jesus rather than suffering with those that choose their own path.  Believers will be blessed with God's Holy Spirit when they repent, baptize and profess Jesus as the Messiah.  This is only possible because He lived a sinless life and died for us, while we were still sinners.  What better gift could we receive than to have God the Father sacrifice His Son, Jesus -- that He would lay down His life for us, so that we may live!  What a precious gift.

Jesus, the "unspotted Lamb of God" being sinless was made sin for us, dying on a tree for you and I.  Spending 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb, He arose to the heavens by the power of God and was given a new spiritual body.  The bible clearly tells us that followers of Jesus will arise in a similar manner when Jesus comes back for His chosen Church.  With the blast of the trumpets and the shout of the Archangel, Jesus will come back in the same way that He left -- coming down from the clouds to lift up His believers to everlasting life.

So what does it mean to "believe" on God's chosen Son?  It is easy to say we believe something or somebody, but yet another thing to follow.  Jesus made it clear during His ministry that we are to follow Him and His Way.  It is not merely enough to profess to believe in Jesus without changing how we go about our daily lives.  After all, we are all sinners, as the bible teaches us.  Jesus tells us in the gospel of Matthew: "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day,Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."   So we can see that believing means more than professing Jesus in name only while continuing to live in sin.  Jesus solemnly told Nicodemus: "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."  To be born again represents a change in the life of a believer.  A change that will be evident to others as they reject Satan and his deceitful ways and accept the Holy Spirit of God to guide them in a new spiritual life.  As Jesus told the woman accused of adultery, on the verge of being stoned to death:  "Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."    Being born again involves change in the believer, and contrary to popular teaching, we are instructed by Jesus to "sin no more".

But... man is filled with sinful desire, how is this possible?  It wouldn't be possible if not for the saving grace of Jesus the Christ.  Through His blood are our sins forgiven.  Every one of our sins.  So we are instructed to live without sin, but when we fall short of God's will, there still remains hope for us.  We must make an honest effort to change, to follow Jesus not only in word, but in action as well.  Only then, when we do sin; it is through repentance and the life-giving, saving blood of Jesus that God's mercy saves us.  Thanks be to God for this mercy!

The apostle Paul helps us identify what sin is when he says: "What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. .... Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good."  So we find that the importance of God's law in teaching us what sin is.  Contrary to common belief, the 10 Commandments were not done away with, but rather the written ordinances delivered by Moses -- they were nailed to the cross!  Jesus further amplifies this throughout the gospels when He instructs followers to obey specific commandments that were written on the tablets of stone; the 10 Commandments.  Honouring the Sabbath Day is the fourth of these commandments, a day of rest where we can fellowship and worship God the Father, and His Son Jesus Christ.  God gave us this 7th day (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), and sanctified it and made it holy on the 7th day of creation, not because He needed it, but because we do!  Contrary to what many preach today -- the Sabbath did not begin with Moses on Mount Sinai.  In addition to God resting on the 7th day of creation, the Israelites were instructed to collect manna on 6 days of the week and rest on the seventh, before Moses delivered God's 10 Commandments.  This Sabbath was followed by His people; He rested to set an example for us, so that we could set aside our "busyness" on this day and fellowship with Him and His Son in spirit and truth.  For as Jesus instructed us, the Sabbath is not to be a burden to us, but rather a needed rest for our body and soul:  "And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."  We ought therefore to follow our Lord on this matter.

Scripture revealed to us that Our Father, the "one true God" blessed His Son with His Holy Spirit "beyond measure", meaning that we can call Jesus, the Son of Man, "Emmanuel", or "God with us".  God gave His Son all power and authority on Earth, as well as Heaven when He was resurrected from the dead.  He is our Messiah, our Lord, our Mediator and our Saviour.  He is the only path to The Kingdom of God.  He will one day deliver this power back to His Father, once Satan has been defeated once and for all, and His Bride Church will live with Him and God the Father for ever and ever.  Hence the name of our Church:  "Kingdom Worthy Ministries -- Church of God 7th Day"!  It is our goal to lead you to the Truth that is in Jesus Christ, so that we may live forever with Him and "our Father" in eternity.

Thanks be to God!

As a church, we would like nothing more than to share with you this Good News of Jesus Christ in much more detail, and of course, for you to share your spiritual knowledge with us -- for we are all learning.  We acknowledge that we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory.  We are not here to judge our fellow Brothers and Sisters, but to fellowship in Jesus Christ, Who's atoning blood can wash away every one of our sins.  Won't you join us in fellowship and worship on His Holy Sabbath Day?

Our Mission

KW Church of God 7th Day takes its inspiration from Ezekiel 34:16 “I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed. . ."

Oh how easy it is to get lost! With our cell phones and iPads, our 24-hour news cycles and work commitments, there’s virtually nowhere to go for a moment of peace and quiet.

That’s where KW Church of God 7th Day comes in. We provide a holy place of respite in the tumult of life. So come, put aside the cares of the week and find yourself in the presence of God.

Many faces, one faith.

We are a diverse group of believers with one common goal:  to follow the teachings of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Together we are preparing for His return when He will gather His Church to establish the Kingdom.

Recently, we received recognition as a registered non-profit charitable organization -- tax receipts are available for offerings and donations.
